Our vision is Working Together, Making Homes and Building Communities
Partick Housing Association is a dynamic and innovative organisation looking to the future for new ways to develop homes, support local business and community enterprise, delivering value, while responding positively to challenges and opportunities in maximising Partick’s potential to grow and prosper.
We are financially sound and forward thinking, consistently one of the best performing housing associations in Scotland and committed to continuous improvement.
We believe that great people make a difference to our business and welcome interest from candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, but would be particularly keen to hear from you if you have experience in:
- Commercial / Finance / Legal / Business Growth;
- Property, Asset Management and Development; or
- Community Development and Social Enterprises.
We are led by an experienced Board that has overall responsibility for governance and strategic direction. As part of our succession planning, we want to recruit new Board Members who have a real desire and interest in helping our ambitious organisation achieve our aims and objectives and contribute towards business growth.
This is a voluntary position, so we do not pay Board Members but travel and other expenses for attendance at meetings can be claimed. You will need to commit to attending up to 10 meetings per year, which are held in the evening within our offices at Mansfield Street in Partick, Glasgow. We also encourage and support Board members to commit to personal development through training, seminars and other networking events.
We are committed to equality and diversity and welcome approaches from all sections of the community.
If you are interested and want to find out more about this opportunity please visit our website for an information pack at www.partickha.org.uk or phone 0141 330 1460/1465. The deadline for receiving completed applications will be Friday 28 April 2017.
