Shettleston is a community based association that is proud of the over 40 years’ contribution it has made to the regeneration of the wider Shettleston area.  With 2,300 homes, a Group turnover of around £9.5 million, an active development programme, three subsidiary companies, a range of wider role and advice projects and as an employer of more than 120 staff, the Association plays a vital role in the local community.

The Association wishes to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer following the decision of its long-standing Director to take up a position of public responsibility.

The successful applicant will be qualified at degree/diploma level and have considerable experience in social housing either as the senior officer or at a second tier level within a housing association/co-operative. The new CEO will have excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills and a first class track record in management. Experience of housing association governance and of working with a voluntary committee are essential. An understanding of the operating environment for housing associations in Glasgow and the West of Scotland is desirable.
