Bellsmyre Housing Association is a registered charity operating in Bellsmyre, Dumbarton.
The Association owns and manages affordable housing for nearly 600 tenants and acts as a factor for a significant number of owners.
On 1st April 2016, Bellsmyre Housing Association became part of the Caledonia Housing Association Group. Since then, Bellsmyre has developed a renewed confidence and established a clear direction, strengthening governance, financial management and service delivery.
The Association is on an exciting journey of change and improvement. In the past year, Bellsmyre has improved performance, increased tenant satisfaction and commenced the delivery of a comprehensive 5 year major investment programme. Meanwhile the Association has developed bold and ambitious housing regeneration plans.
The Association is governed by a Management Committee that comprises of a mix of local tenants and residents, and individuals that offer specific business skills and expertise.
Bellsmyre is looking for new Committee members and is particularly interested to speak to individuals with a professional background and specific knowledge of finance, asset management and development.
These are rewarding and fulfilling roles, providing the opportunity to have a real contribution to Bellsmyre’s future and exciting journey of change. Meanwhile a position on the governing body offers the chance to gain leadership and governance experience within an Association that is part of a large group structure operating in a number of local authority areas.
