Clackmannanshire Council leisure and wellbeing engagement continues

Clackmannanshire residents will have the opportunity to give their views on future leisure and wellbeing facilities next week.

Clackmannanshire Council staff will be out and about across the county gathering views via a quick, five-question survey.

The face to face consultation is the next phase in the project to create modern and sustainable leisure and wellbeing facilities.

Earlier this year, the council conducted an initial online survey, as well as direct engagement with a range of stakeholders, which reached 2,500 people.

Building on that consultation, face-to-face surveys will be conducted on Tuesday 20th, Wednesday 21st and Saturday 24th July from 10am-4pm with staff visiting Alloa, Clakmannan, Dollar, Fishcross, Menstrie and Tullibody.

Education spokesperson Cllr Graham Lindsay said: “We have a great opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of the people of Clackmannanshire by getting the leisure and wellbeing provision right.

“We have allocated a £16.855m investment for the creation of a state-of-the-art wellbeing hub and are keen to directly engage with as many people as possible to shape what that future provision looks like.”

Feedback received will be used to create the Statement of Needs for the hub.
