Cube Housing has achieved Investors in People’s prestigious Platinum accreditation.

Assessors praised Cube, which owns and manages more than 3500 affordable homes in the west of Scotland, for its commitment to excellence.

In their report, they said: “The commitment of your people is infectious in the pursuit of excellence. Your people are great ambassadors of the Cube brand.”

The award of IIP Platinum came after an assessment in June. It follows Quality Scotland’s award to Cube of 5-star ‘Recognised for Excellence’ accreditation earlier this year.

Cube director David Mackenzie said: “This is the highest IIP standard and is only held by a handful of organisations across the UK.

“This is a tremendous achievement for everyone at Cube and reflects the hard work, dedication and commitment of all our staff. I’d like to thank everyone for the fantastic work they do every day.”

Cube joins GHA as the second Wheatley organisation to gain the accolade – the highest standard given by IIP.

CEO of Investors in People, Paul Devoy, said: “We’d like to congratulate Cube Housing Association on achieving the Platinum Investors in People accreditation. It is the sign of a great employer and a clear commitment to success. Cube Housing Association has created a culture where leaders are inspiring and people feel able to speak out, enabling the business to continually improve. Cube Housing Association should be extremely proud of its achievement.”
