Scottish Social Housing CharterThe Scottish Government has published its analysis of the responses to the formal consultation on the review of the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

Generating 106 responses, the consultation found that views on the current Charter were generally positive with the majority of respondents in favour of keeping the current outcomes and standards unchanged.

The analysis, along with the views of those who attended the stakeholder events earlier in the year, evidence paper from the Scottish Housing Regulator on landlord performance against the Charter, an “Involving All” consultation carried out by the Tenant Participation Advisory Service and Tenant Information Service, will help inform the changes that will be made.

The Local Government and Communities Committee of the Scottish Parliament will scrutinise a revised Charter early in 2017 before it is introduced from 1st April 2017.
