Grandson of Pat McGinlay MBE dies

Glen Oaks Housing Association is, with great sadness, advising friends of Pat McGinlay MBE of the sudden and unexpected death of Pat’s grandson Gerard aged just 24.
Gerard, the only grandson of Pat who is currently vice chairperson of Glen Oaks, died on October 8.
Glen Oaks has taken the unusual step of intimating Gerard’s death to the wider housing association movement given Pat’s many friends and associates in housing and her long and devoted service for which she is hugely-admired and respected.
Gerard was the only child of Pat’s son and daughter in law, Gerard and Liz.
Gerard’s funeral will be held this Thursday, 15 October in St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, Barrhead at 9.30am.
This service will be followed by a cremation at Craigton Crematorium at 11.30am. All are welcome to attend the services.
