A lot has changed over the last four decades with many milestones and memorable achievements.

In celebration of the anniversary, Kingdom has published a book packed full of photos from the archives. They also tracked down some of the people who have had the biggest impact on Kingdom over the years so they could share their memorable moments with readers.

There’s a digital version of the book available to read online.

There is also a limited supply of first edition, hardback copies of the book available free of charge.

These books are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are strictly limited to one per household. To request your free copy of the book please email kingdom@kingdomhousing.org.uk with your name and address.

Bill Banks, Kingdom Group chief executive, who has a long history with the organisation, said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kingdom. I have worked for the organisation for over 32 years and during this time I’ve seen the association grow and develop. I started as an administrative assistant in 1987 and have undertaken various posts before becoming the group chief executive.”

Mr Banks added: “We’re proud of everything we’ve achieved at Kingdom in the first 40 years and our 40th Anniversary Book highlights how Kingdom has grown and developed. The book is a wonderful wander down memory lane and not only showcases all of our achievements to date, but demonstrates that Kingdom really does provide ‘More Than A Home’.”
