Scottish Awards for Business Excellence open for entries

Quality Scotland is a charitable, membership organisation working with over 250 organisations across Scotland from the private, public and third sectors.

Since 1991 it has been working towards making excellence a national characteristic of Scotland. Organisations are being encouraged to assess themselves using the EFQM Excellence Model to help drive their organisation forward, and to carry on with their continuous improvement journey.

A big part of this work are the annual Scottish Awards for Business Excellence. Quality Scotland has been awarding Scottish organisations with Levels of Excellence for nearly 25 years, each year recognising and celebrating that achievement and success.

And this year will be the most sustainable event yet.

A range of housing association members, from small teams of ten to organisations with hundreds of employees, have said they felt the approach helps stakeholders understand and trust their commitment to improving their services for the customer.

Providing organisations with key strengths and opportunities for improvement allows them to review their structure and direction but they also serve as milestones during a long term programme and demonstrate achievement to your people, suppliers, and customers.

Association members who currently hold Recognised for Excellence are:

  • Cube Housing Association 5* Recognised for Excellence 2017
  • Port of Leith Housing Association 4* Recognised for Excellence 2016
