Video: Homes for Scotland makes case for return to work on The Nine

Homes for Scotland chief executive Nicola Barclay appeared on BBC Scotland’s The Nine this week to outline why she thinks the home building industry is uniquely placed to begin a safe, phased return to work and complete the 6,000 homes currently awaiting finishing touches.

Ms Barclay spoke of the sector’s frustration at the lack of clear messaging from the Scottish Government about a start date and highlighted the importance of appropriate housing for managing the current pandemic.

The trade body had previously written to First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to call for her to follow the announcement by the UK Government that estate agents and home builders in England can re-start the buying and selling process.
