Alan holds a Masters degree in Housing and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the post having previously held the position of tenancy manager at Glasgow West Housing Association and worked for a number of Scottish housing associations and local authorities.

Critically, Alan has seven years of previous experience working for Lister Housing Co-operative so is very familiar with the co-operative housing model and how the best interests of tenants is at the centre of its decision making process.

Speaking about this new appointment, CEO Larke Adger said: “We are delighted that Alan has agreed to join our organisation and I am confident he will make a significant contribution within our senior management team and will play a key role in the development and execution of both our strategic and operational plans.”

I am looking forward to working towards the next chapter within WGHC and addressing the challenges and taking advantage of the opportunities that 2019 and beyond will bring.”
