The Service

The Business Services Team are a key team within the Corporate Service Department, responsible for the administration of Hillcrest’s governance processes. The main areas of activity include Insurance, Fleet Management, Business Continuity, Procurement and Contract Management, Corporate Governance and Internal Audit.

The Role

As a Business Services Assistant you will:

  • Administer a robust process for handling insurance claims, enquiries and fleet management while providing support and advice to staff
  • Update records and maintaining databases
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders including direct and indirect contact with tenants, people we support, owners and other external agencies
  • Provide a customer focused service by understanding the diversity of our customers and the importance of accurate and timely responses.

You Will

  • Hold an appropriate qualification equivalent to a minimum of Level 5 of the SCQF Framework
  • Have previous experience of delivering quality customer service
  • Have previous experience of using Microsoft IT applications, in particular spreadsheets and databases
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Have proven ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Have a flexible attitude
