Statutory Managers
The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) has opened recruitment to its list of statutory managers.
SHR is the independent regulator of Registered Social Landlords and local authority housing and homelessness services in Scotland.
In 2019 we carried out a selection process and published a list of people with suitable skills and experience which we can select from when we require to make a statutory appointment of a manager to a social landlord. We are now reviewing our published list and seeking applications from individuals with suitable skills, experience and knowledge to carry out statutory manager appointments.
We are seeking individuals with
- a proven track record of successfully carrying out interim senior officer roles in regulated organisations with serious performance, governance and/or financial management problems
- extensive experience in change management and problem-solving around governance and leadership issues
- excellent communication, people management and risk management skills
Individuals who are currently on the statutory manager list will need to re-apply if they would like to remain on the list.
