ACHA introduces smartphone payment systems

ACHATenants of Argyll Community Housing Association (ACHA) will now be able to take advantage of two new ways to make a payment to the association via their smartphones with the introduction of the Allpay app and the Pingit app.

The apps are free of charge and setting them up is quick and easy with clear on-screen instructions. A dedicated helpline is available from both providers for assistance.

When making a payment via ACHA’s website, users can select Pingit from the options and will be guided through the process. The Allpay app can be used on its own without the need to go via the website.

The new payment methods are in addition to the internet payments already available at the website, calling ACHA’s Freephone number 0800 0282755 and by using Allpay cards at any Paypoint outlet.

ACHA’s chief executive, Alastair MacGregor, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for our tenants to make a payment. We appreciate that people lead busy lives and their time is valuable. By using these applications it will take only a moment and tenants can be rest assured their details will be held securely.”
