ACHA’s chairman Jim Milne MBE and Brendan O’Hara MP receive the Secure by Design Gold award from Inspector Roddy MacNeill of Police Scotland accompanied by ACHA Board members, Councillor Shonny Paterson, Danny Kelly and Douglas Prophet

Earlier this month, the development received a Secure by Design Award from Police Scotland.

Tenants have now moved into the initial 16 properties, made up of one- and two-bedroom flats and three- and four-bedroom family homes.

The remaining 16 affordable rented properties are due to be completed by this summer.

The development also includes six units for private rent or sale which are owned by the developer, Helensburgh-based Callum Williamson Ltd.

Danny Kelly, chair of ACHA’s Helensburgh & Lomond area committee, said: “I am delighted that the first 16 tenants have been able to move into their new homes at Castle Wood Court.

“It is especially pleasing that we were able to specifically adapt three of these properties to meet the needs of our new tenants.”
