Kilmarnock registered social landlord Atrium Homes has completed its long planned move to new purpose built offices at Central Avenue, Shortlees.

The offices are deliberately located in the heart of Atrium’s largest community and will be the central point from which they plan to serve all their communities for years to come.

At present Atrium has 1250 properties spread across nine towns in East Ayrshire, making it the largest RSL in the district, whilst through Choice Places, its factoring subsidiary it also provides factoring services 1450 owners.

To mark the occasion, Atrium invited Mrs Winnie Campbell, a well known Shortlees resident to cut a ribbon and tour the office before it opened to the public on Thursday 3 December. At the fabulous age of 99 years and 11 months, Mrs Campbell is Atrium’s longest tenant, moving into her present home in 1947.

Atrium chief executive, Stephen Black, said: “We’re thrilled to be in our new office at long last and were delighted to show off the building to Winnie who has lived in the area since the first houses were built. We look forward to welcoming all our customers and to developing the office as our customer service base.”
