In 2018 Barratt is set to deliver a total of 168 affordable homes across the city including 58 units to Home Group at their development at The View, Alnwickhill. The properties are part of Barratt’s ongoing commitment to deliver social housing at each of its developments in the capital.

Nicholas Wright, development director for Barratt Homes East Scotland, said: “Barratt is committed to delivering homes for everyone, and this includes those who might not be in a position to buy their own property. We’re therefore delighted to be able to deliver affordable homes, at each of our developments, right across the city.”

Richard Jennings, managing director of Castle Rock Edinvar, added: “Places for People has made a significant contribution to new affordable housing supply over the last year, which is helping to meet demand for quality affordable housing in the area and enabling people to reach their potential in Scotland.”
