BHA is assisting the 1st Eyemouth Brownies to restart and supported the recent Christmas Shopping Day held in Eyemouth which was well attended by local businesses.

They are also helping the Ayton Resilience Group to support local families who require a little extra support over Christmas and during the winter period.

Through its Tenant Volunteers Fund, BHA has also enabled Coldingham Primary School PFA to provide a couple of outdoor toy storage boxes in the community. These are now in place and are proving very popular with the local children.

The latest group to receive support from BHA is Swinton Primary School. They are currently working on a community mural project with Allanbank Arts and hope to have it completed in early spring.

BHA’s community initiatives manager Dougie Paterson, said: “BHA is pleased to play our part to assist the many wonderful ideas and initiatives underway again across our communities in Berwickshire. It is great to see so many things restarting, especially activities to enable our young people to get active, and we look forward to supporting more initiatives like this in the future.”
