Bield appoints new Board members

Housing and care provider Bield has announced changes to its Board members following its latest Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Bield has appointed four new members to its Board of management who boast vast experience across a range of professional and health service sectors.

Patricia Dawson, Robert Fernie, Isabel McGarvie and Moira Sibbald were elected at the organisation’s AGM held in Edinburgh.

BEILD_AGM_2017_HPR-35As well as welcoming the new arrivals, the Bield Board also bid farewell to long-serving Board members; Mohanjit Singh, Jacqueline McCormick and Michael McFee, as well as Bill Nicolson, who retired as vice-chair. Between them, they have a combined total of more than 50 years’ service to the Bield Board.

Susan Napier, chair of Bield, said: “Firstly, I want to thank Mohanjit, Jacqueline, Michael and Bill for their tremendous service and diligence as members of the Board. They’ve been brilliant colleagues and we all wish them well in their future endeavours.

“It’s great to welcome Patricia, Robert, Isabel and Moira to the Board. With their vast combined experience and expertise, they’ll fit seamlessly into their new roles.

“I’m excited to move forward with this Board and get a fresh take and ideas on things as we continue to provide quality housing and services which enhances and enriches the lives of our residents.”
