Changeworks announces new chair of board of directors

Changeworks has appointed a new chair of its board of directors and has announced a number of board appointments to strengthen its strategy up to the year 2030.
Nicola Walters, who is a current member of the board, will enter the position of chair, replacing current chair Del Redvers after he steps down at the end of his term later in 2026.
Walters is chief transformation officer and senior director at Deloitte with a background in financial services. Walters has also founded an award-winning, sustainability-centred business.
Four additional members are also joining the board, bringing knowledge in technology and governance, climate strategy and energy systems, alongside sustainability and the housing sector.
Alex Kantor has more than 15 years of experience developing teams in regulated sectors, such as spearheading delivery, compliance and governance elements within the AI, fintech and enterprise spaces.
Claire Rampen is a climate technology and innovation expert operating within Europe, the US, and Latin America.
Angus Flett is a senior leader in digital infrastructure and energy systems, who has led teams operating within the digitisation of the UK energy sector.
Housing sector leader, Craig Stirrat, has more than 40 years of experience which includes progressing affordable and sustainable homes within local government and housing associations as well as overseeing extensive projects on energy efficiency.
Josiah Lockhart, chief executive at Changeworks said: “Del has played a hugely important role in guiding Changeworks through a period of growth, strengthening our impact and helping position the organisation for the future. We are very grateful for his leadership, commitment and support.”
Lockhart also said that Walters “brings deep knowledge of Changeworks and a strong commitment to [its] mission, providing continuity as [it] move[s] into the next phase of … strategy.”
Lockhart added: “Our new Board members will further strengthen the Board, bringing together the expertise needed to support our strategic priorities over the next five years and to deliver in an increasingly complex and evolving landscape.”
During Changeworks previous strategic plan (2022–25), it supported more than 215,000 households with energy guidance and retrofit.
