CIH Housing Academy introduces fast-track study option

CIH Housing Academy has launched a new fast-track study option for its CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing, giving learners a third and expedited way to gain one of the sector’s most respected qualifications, and meet the requirements of the Competence and Conduct requirement for social housing.

The CIH Housing Academy now offers three distinct ways to study the Level 5 Diploma in Housing: online, online plus, and the newly introduced fast track route.

The expanded offer from CIH Housing Academy means learners can choose a process that best suits their schedule, how they learn, and the level of support they need. With the fast-track option designed for busy, senior-level learners who want to complete the seven units of the Level 5 Diploma quickly and efficiently.

For level 5 learners who choose the online or online plus study methods, the qualification takes approximately 13 months, with an average of eight hours of study per week.

Fast track learners can expect to complete their qualification in as little as eight months, with continued access to support and learning materials for up to 12 months – giving you the flexibility to plan your studies around your schedule.

Denise Taylor, CIH Housing Academy qualifications manager, said: “We know that people learn in different ways, and senior housing professionals are facing increasing time pressures. This new fast-track Level 5 Diploma enables you to continue your professional development, in a shorter time scale.

“The fast-track option is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in their learning in a more intensive way, supported by our expert tutors to achieve their diploma quickly. Whatever route learners choose, they’ll receive the same high-quality Housing Academy experience and come away with a qualification that is highly regarded across the housing sector.”

The Level 5 Diploma in Housing is for senior leaders, professionals, supervisors and managers who wish to achieve CIH chartered membership (CIHCM) and ideally have two years of experience working in a housing or housing-related sector at a management or supervisory level.

It equips learners with knowledge and understanding across key areas of housing policy and practice and meets the requirements for the Competence and Conduct requirement for social housing.

Full details of the CIH Level 5 Diploma in Housing, including entry requirements, course content, and how to apply for each study route, are available on the CIH Housing Academy website.
