Cunninghame Housing Association hosts 41st AGM

On Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, Cunninghame Housing Association members gathered at its head office for its 41st Annual General Meeting.

Share members attended and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea.

Before the AGM got underway, there was a Special General Meeting where members formally agreed to a change to the Association’s Rulebook.

At the AGM, group chief executive Jacqueline Cameron gave an overview of the Association’s achievements and progress over the past year.

A financial overview was also provided, as members were updated on the Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position for 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025.

CT Audit Ltd presented their findings of the audit report and were officially reappointed as the Association’s Auditors for another term.

The AGM also included a prize raffle.

The winners of this year’s Garden Competition were announced at the event, with trophies and certificates handed out to celebrate their fantastic efforts. The winners were:

  • Communal Garden – Mr Smyth
  • North Ayrshire – Mr & Mrs Ritchie
  • Dumfries & Galloway – Mrs Troup
  • East Ayrshire – Mr & Mrs Davidson

Following the AGM, at the first board of management meeting on 25th September 2025, the election of office bearers took place. CHA has now announced the following appointments:

Janet Strang as chairperson, Brenda Johnstone as vice chairperson and Drew Hall as secretary.
