Detailed plans lodged for 55 flats in Cathcart
Westpoint Homes has fleshed out its plans to build three five-storey blocks containing a total of 55 flats in Glasgow’s south side.

The HAUS-designed proposal concerns a former council depot at Greenholme Street, off Holmlea Road in Cathcart.
If approved, fifty-three of the flats will have two bedrooms and two will have one bedroom.

A design statement submitted with the application explains: “The existing site will be cleared to facilitate the creation of a vibrant, dynamic, development promoting liveable urban density.
“Proposals embrace the constraint and opportunity presented by this urban site, whilst protecting and enhancing the wider urban context.
