Dunedin Canmore promotes new operations director from its ranks

Dunedin Canmore, part of Wheatley Group, has promoted one of its managers to a new key role of operations director.
Robert Buchanan, 40, previously head of IT and change management, took up the new position at the start of January.
Chief executive Ewan Fraser said: “Robert has been with Dunedin Canmore for 16 years, joining us as IT Manager back when we were Canmore Housing.
“He has extensive experience managing the organisation’s operations and I am delighted to welcome him on board as a Director where he will have a major role in ensuring we continue to provide excellent services and value for money to our customers.”
Robert, who is a graduate of Napier University and lives in Edinburgh, said: “I am delighted to have been appointed Operations Director at this important stage in Dunedin Canmore’s development. Joining Wheatley Group has meant we can now do even more for our communities - improving services, building new homes and delivering employment opportunities for our customers. I am looking forward to being part of the dynamic leadership team and can’t wait to get started.”
