Exhibition to showcase a history of housing in East Renfrewshire

East Renfrewshire Council is to hold an exhibition which details 100 years of housing in the area.
Developed in collaboration with Williamwood High School, museums, libraries and local voluntary groups, ‘About the Houses’ depicts life and how it has changed over the past century and looks ahead to plans for the future.
The exhibition will include library archives, schools display, museum artefacts, competitions and a kids’ corner.
The exhibition will launch on October 5 in Rouken Glen Pavillion where it will remain until October 16. It will then move to Barrhead Health Centre from October 19-30.
