Hillcrest bids fond farewell to chief executive Angela Linton
Angela Linton
In the final week of Angela Linton’s tenure as chief executive, Hillcrest has taken a moment to celebrate and reflect on her outstanding leadership and lasting legacy at the organisation.
Angela’s retirement, effective this week, brings to a close more than three decades of dedicated service, during which she has transformed Hillcrest through her vision, commitment, and integrity.
Since becoming CEO in 2014, Angela has overseen an era of significant growth and transformation. Under her leadership, the number of homes managed by Hillcrest has grown from 6,398 to 8,884, a testament to her strategic direction and unwavering focus on expanding Hillcrest’s impact. The number of homes includes a significant amount for mid-market rent, a new affordable tenure which has blossomed during Angela’s time at the helm.
Hillcrest Maintenance has developed from being an internal division of Hillcrest Homes to a company in its own right, and Hillcrest Futures has expanded the range of care and support it provides.
Beyond the impressive milestones, Angela’s influence is deeply embedded in the culture she helped shape. Her unwavering belief in innovation and excellence has left a profound mark on Hillcrest - values that will continue to guide them long after she departs.
Fiona Morrison, Hillcrest deputy chief executive, said: “While it is difficult to say goodbye, we are immensely grateful for Angela’s contributions and the strong foundation she leaves behind. Her legacy is one of progress, resilience and a deep commitment to the communities we serve.
“Angela has been a truly inspiring leader, not only through what she has achieved, but in how she has led—with compassion and a belief in the people who make up Hillcrest. Her legacy is one that will continue to influence Hillcrest for many years to come.
“On behalf of everyone at Hillcrest—thank you, Angela.”
