Housing excellence celebrated at 2026 Scottish Home Awards
The winners of the 2026 Scottish Home Awards, sponsored by Ross + Liddell, were revealed on Thursday evening as more than 580 guests from across Scotland’s homebuilding and housing sectors gathered at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Central for the prestigious awards ceremony.
Now in its 19th year, the Scottish Home Awards recognise excellence across the country’s housing industry, celebrating the developers, housebuilders, housing associations, architects and industry professionals who continue to shape Scotland’s homes and communities.
Affordable Housebuilder of the Year
Hosted by broadcaster and comedian Des Clarke, the awards featured 21 categories, recognising outstanding achievements in design, construction, regeneration, innovation and community impact.
One of the evening’s top honours, Housebuilder of the Year (more than 100 units), sponsored by Scottish Construction Summit, was awarded to Robertson Homes in recognition of its continued commitment to delivering high-quality homes across Scotland.
Hosuing Regeneration Development of the Year
Fotheringham Homes was named Housebuilder of the Year (up to 100 units), sponsored by BTO Solicitors, capped off a highly successful evening for the company. In addition to securing one of the night’s most prestigious awards, Fotheringham Homes also collected a further category win and a Highly Commended recognition, underlining the strength and consistency of its work across the sector.
The importance of delivering high-quality, sustainable housing for communities across Scotland was reflected throughout the winners list, particularly within the social housing categories. Ballindean Road, Dundee, delivered by Culross + Caledonia Housing Association, was named Social Housing Development of the Year (up to 100 units), sponsored by Scottish Housing News.
Excellence in Accesibility & Inclusion
The awards continue to highlight the vital role Scotland’s housing sector plays in creating places where people can live, work and thrive. From private developments and affordable housing projects to large-scale regeneration initiatives, this year’s winners demonstrated excellence in design, sustainability, customer experience and community benefit.
The evening also featured a fundraising initiative in support of The Lighthouse Charity, with guests showing generous support for the organisation and helping raise funds for a cause that provides support to construction workers and their families.
Housebuilder of the Year (more than 100 units)
The Scottish Home Awards, sponsored by Ross + Liddell will return in 2027 to once again celebrate the achievements of Scotland’s homebuilding and housing community.
