Inverclyde Council community engagement fund opens

Community groups in Greenock are being invited to apply for funding to help them ask the people of the town about their regeneration priorities.
The Greenock Town Board is developing a long-term regeneration plan for the town to set out how to make use of the £19.5 million UK Government funding being provided over the next ten years.
As part of this, a Community Engagement Fund has been set up to support community groups with engagement.
Funding of up to £1,000 is available to constituted local groups operating in Greenock to organise an activity or event which asks people what their needs and priorities for the town are.
Drop-in sessions for more information on the fund and how to apply are taking place:
- Greenock Central Library: Thursday 2 October, 5.30pm – 7pm.
- South West Library: Thursday 2 October, 5.30pm – 7pm.
Closing date for applications is Friday 10 October and the activities/events must be completed by Monday 27 October 2025.
