January family fun lined up as Elderpark’s 50th celebrations continue

Elderpark Housing Association is continuing its long-standing commitment to tenants and the wider Govan community once again this January, as it continues celebrations to mark its 50th anniversary.

The Association is set to kick off the new year with another community family fun day, building on the success of a popular autumn event that brought residents together and reflected Elderpark’s focus on community wellbeing.

The event will take place in Govan on January 28 and will be open to tenants, their families and members of the community, offering a chance to come together and enjoy some winter cheer.

When Elderpark launched its programme of anniversary events earlier this year, it committed to placing the community at the heart of every celebration. That commitment continues with the January event, which aims to bring people together at what can be a challenging time of year.

For the latest celebrations, Elderpark has teamed up with tenant engagement platform CX-Feedback, which is providing funding to support the event.

Gary Dalziel, chief executive of Elderpark Housing Association, said: “We’re really looking forward to our January community celebrations, which are an ideal opportunity to banish the winter blues and bring the people of Govan together.

“Our 50th anniversary year has been about much more than marking a milestone. It’s been about recognising and celebrating the community that Elderpark exists to serve.

“We’re grateful to CX-Feedback for their support and for helping us make this event possible.”
