Jules Oldham joins Homeless Network Scotland in new advisor role

Jules Oldham

Homeless Network Scotland has appointed Jules Oldham as its partnerships and consultancy advisor.

With nearly 25 years of dedicated experience in housing and homelessness – spanning frontline support, strategic leadership, national policy influence and international collaboration – Jules brings exceptional expertise, insight and energy to the organisation.

Her appointment further strengthens the charity’s capacity to build meaningful partnerships and deliver high-impact consultancy support across Scotland’s homelessness sector and beyond.

Jules joins Homeless Network Scotland after successfully running her own independent consultancy since 2018. During this time she has worked with charities, housing associations and local authorities, developing strategies, influencing policy, facilitating connections and translating evidence into change. She has now wound down her consultancy to lead HNS training and consultancy arm, We Are All in.

“As a sector we are determined to change the way homelessness is prevented and resolved in Scotland,” Jules said. “To achieve that change we need to keep getting experts around the table to collaborate and share solutions. I couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of an organisation that will contribute to achieving that change.”

Jules is a widely respected and ‘well kent’ figure across the sector, known for her ability to build trust quickly, facilitate collaboration and turn evidence into practical solutions. Her unique breadth of experience enables her to connect perspectives across the sector with empathy and credibility.

She previously served as UK representative on FEANTSA’s Executive Committee during Brexit, helping to secure continued membership, and remains actively involved in the FEANTSA Women’s network.

Homeless Network Scotland chief executive Maggie Brünjes said: “In a housing and homelessness emergency, combining deep specialist knowledge, proven expertise and strong, trusted relationships has never been more important.

“Jules brings those qualities that will greatly strengthen our work. With her previous success as an independent consultant, we are especially pleased to welcome her to the helm of Homeless Network Scotland’s training and consultancy enterprise, We Are All in.”

In her new role, Jules will focus on deepening strategic partnerships, coordinating high-quality consultancy support to members and partners, and playing a key role in major national programmes, including Housing First Scotland and Fair Way Scotland.
