Langstane logo 2017 - printLangstane Housing Association has congratulated members of staff Sam Clark and Natasha Day on their recent successes.

Wrights and Coopers Incorporation hosted its annual construction awards ceremony in Trinity Hall, Aberdeen, to recognise and honour students and apprentices from the North East Scotland College (NESCOL).

This year the prestigious Gordon Archibald Award was received by a member of Langstane Housing Association’s Property Services team, Sam Clark.

Sam has been with Langstane for nine years and recently completed the HNC (Higher National Certificate) Built Environment course at NESCOL. Sam received this award based on the high standard of his final project.

Alongside Sam’s award, the Association is proud to announce that housing officer Natasha Day graduated from Robert Gordon University with a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, with Distinction.

Natasha, who has been with the Association for four years, said: “I am immensely proud of completing 8 years of studying at Undergraduate and Postgraduate Level at Robert Gordon University, which I couldn’t have done without the support of my partner and two children, all while holding down my job at Langstane Housing Association.”

Commenting on the successes, Helen Gauld, chief executive, said: “All of the staff at Langstane Housing Association would like to congratulate Sam and Natasha on their respective accomplishments.

“They have both gone the extra mile to achieve skilled excellence and we are thrilled with the news of Sam’s award win and Natasha’s graduation with distinction.

“We are extremely lucky to have such talented and committed individuals working for the Association. Well done Sam and Natasha.”
