Edinburgh letting agent Clan Gordon has been ranked among the UK’s top 100 small and medium-sized businesses for the second year running after being named in the 2026 Elite Business 100.
The specialist property management firm secured 34th place in the national rankings, which recognises high-performing UK SMEs demonstrating strong leadership, sustained growth and sector impact.
The recognition comes at a time of continued change within Scotland’s private rented sector, where evolving regulation, landlord pressures and rocketing tenant expectations are reshaping the property management landscape.
Clan Gordon managing director Ed Paine said the award reflects the hard work taking place behind the scenes to maintain high professional standards in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
“We’re genuinely delighted to be recognised in the Elite Business 100 for a second consecutive year,” he said.
“Our team works incredibly hard to support landlords and tenants in what has been a complex and changing market. Property management today requires careful compliance, clear communication and strong operational systems.
“This recognition belongs to our fantastic team who deliver that and more every single day of the year.”
Founded in 2008, Clan Gordon has built its reputation by focusing exclusively on lettings and property management across Edinburgh, positioning itself as a specialist operator in a sector where regulatory compliance and professional standards are increasingly important.
The firm has continued to invest in internal systems, staff development and structured processes designed to support both landlords navigating legislative change and tenants seeking professionally managed homes.
The Elite Business 100 ranking evaluates companies across a range of factors, including innovation, leadership, growth, resilience and community impact, identifying businesses that demonstrate sustained excellence within their sectors.
For Clan Gordon, the repeat recognition reflects a long-term approach to building a property management business centred on specialisation, accountability and service consistency.
As Scotland’s private rented sector continues to evolve, the company says its focus remains firmly on raising professional standards while delivering reliable, compliant property management for landlords across Edinburgh.
The award is more UK-wide recognition for Clan Gordon, coming hot on the heels of scooping the national Gold for Lettings Agency (Medium) gong at the prestigious Negotiator Awards 2025 late last year.
The Negotiator Awards is the UK’s leading independent awards programme for estate and letting agents and are the most important awards in the residential property sector, celebrating excellence, fairness and professionalism across the UK.
