The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) has named Lorraine Gray as its interim chief executive following the departure of Anna Fowlie.

Ms Fowlie has recently been appointed chief executive of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

Ms Gray, currently the SSSC’s director of strategic performance and engagement, will take up the role of interim chief executive on 23 April.

The SSSC will recruit for a permanent chief executive over the coming months.
