Ardenglen Housing Association has announced that Audrey Simpson, the current head of regeneration & digital business at Queens Cross Housing Association, will take over as the new chief executive of Ardenglen at the beginning of June.

The appointment comes after the retirement announcement of current Ardenglen chief executive Kenny Stocks, who is retiring at the end of May after 28 years as senior officer.

“Audrey brings a strong track record and commitment to our mission of investing in our community and will help us meet the challenges ahead, but keep intact our vision and values as a community anchor organisation. We are all looking forward to working with her.”

Audrey said: “Ardenglen Housing Association is a fantastic organisation and I feel extremely privileged to be appointed as chief executive. Ardenglen provide high quality housing and community services and it is clear they have deep rooted values in providing opportunities for their residents to build community capacity.

“It is a very exciting time to join Ardenglen and I look forward to working with the Board, staff and residents to deliver what matters most to the community.
