New media partner unveiled for Homebuyer Show Scotland

The 2019 Homebuyer Show Scotland

Homebuyer Show Scotland has signed a new partnership with The Scotsman.

The publication will help promote the show, which will be held at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 20th April, 2024.

The Scotsman Property editor Kirsty McLuckie will also be chairing the keynote seminar on the day.

Matt Colgan, event director for Homebuyer Show Scotland, said: “We are thrilled that The Scotsman is joining our other media partner WhatHouse.com, along with partner Mortgage Advice Bureau in supporting the show and ensuring we reach an even wider audience.

“With so much turbulence in the property market due to interest rates, energy costs and inflation, it has never been more important for buyers to go into the buying process with their eyes wide open and the latest available information at their fingertips. Despite the economic climate, there are lots of innovative new products on the market to help buyers overcome some of the hurdles they face today from 35-year mortgages to zero deposit options and part exchange deals.

“This show gives homebuyers – and current owners - a chance to access the best advice from mortgage advisors, tax specialists, estate agents and housebuilders under one roof, saving them countless hours of research online. There will also be some special offers available on the day, which they won’t be able to get anywhere else.

“We would encourage everyone who is thinking of moving home to come along to this free event whatever stage they are at in the homebuying journey - whether they are just vaguely considering it or have already sold their current property and are in the position to reserve a home on the day.”

Rosemary Gallagher, head of commercial content at The Scotsman, said: “We’re pleased to be a media partner for the Homebuyer Show Scotland coming to Glasgow next April. We see it as playing a valuable role in helping home buyers and movers make the right decisions. Our weekly Scotsman Property section assists people in making sense of the sometimes complex housing market, and we believe this show will do the same.”

With an impressive number of homebuyers already registered to attend, the upcoming free show is tailor-made to offer invaluable guidance for individuals embarking on their next housing venture. Exhibitors who have already signed up include leading names from the housebuilding industry such as Westpoint Homes and Stewart Milne Homes, along with estate agents Pacitti Jones.
The event will allow homebuyers to meet housebuilders, mortgage specialists and interior designers, as well as the opportunity to attend seminars and talks from experts in property.
