NHBC and Alvesta Living Group confirm continued partnership

The National House-Building Council (NHBC) and single-family rental (SFR) homes provider Alvesta Living Group have confirmed a close commercial partnership.

Alvesta is a vertically integrated residential investment and management platform with over 5,000 SFR homes delivered or under construction.

NHBC said its aim to drive new home quality chimes with Alvesta Living Group’s commitment to excellence with quality at its core. Currently managing more than 150 SFR communities, Alvesta Living Group has established six single-family rental portfolios, successfully exiting three in benchmark transactions, and is the UK’s largest manager of SFR homes.

Niki Kyriacou, sector lead for BTR at NHBC, said: “The UK Build to Rent (BTR) sector continues to grow, with single-family homes a key part of this. Demand for quality, managed rental homes continue to rise, with renters increasingly recognising the benefits of institutional landlords and investors seeing commercial potential.

“We’re committed to helping the BTR sector thrive, keeping quality at the heart of all we do. Alvesta Living Group’s commitment to excellence across their platform makes them a valued partner and we’re pleased to reconfirm our strong working relationship.”

Paul Stockwell, CEO of Alvesta Living Group, added: “Quality is at the core of all we do, and we continue to invest in thoughtfully designed, well located and professionally managed neighbourhoods in areas with high rental demand.

“As a fast-growing sector SFR is an attractive proposition for investors and we provide them a comprehensive suite of operational services to develop and scale a successful SFR platform. We believe in partnership working and have strong relationships with many of the UK’s leading house builders as well as our ongoing relationship with NHBC, which shares our commitment to raising standards and high-quality homes.”
