Staff at NHS Tayside are learning how they can save energy at home and in the workplace as part of a new energy efficiency campaign.

The organisation has teamed up with Home Energy Scotland to offer free and impartial advice on reducing fuel bills and saving energy.

Members of the Home Energy Scotland team will be on hand in the coming months to give advice on the support available to save energy, the benefits of home renewables and general information on being more energy efficient, both at home and at work.

The team will be visiting Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital during events over the summer.

NHS Tayside energy officer, John Ruddy, said: “We are delighted that the team from Home Energy Scotland will be on site to give advice to staff on how they can save energy in their home and in the workplace over the coming months. Everyone can make a difference by making wise choices to help save energy and reduce wastage every day.”
