North Lanarkshire Council begins tenant satisfaction survey

Council tenants in North Lanarkshire are being encouraged to provide their views on the quality of the housing services they receive as part of the local authority’s tenant satisfaction survey.

During July and August, tenants are being randomly selected to take part in the telephone survey and will receive a letter in advance of this.

Independent researchers Research Resource will be conducting the survey and asking tenants a range of questions to gauge how satisfied they are with the housing services they receive.

The last survey was carried out in 2018 and responses showed an increase in satisfaction levels with the overall service provided from 85.3% to 91%. This figure compared very favourably with the Scottish local authority average of 82.10%.

Councillor Heather Brannan-McVey, convener of housing and regeneration, said: “It’s really important, that if you’re selected, you have your say and tell us about your experience of our housing services.

Whether it’s in response to our repairs services, opportunities to get involved in consultation events or the management of our neighbourhoods, we want to hear from you. Your views matter and help us plan future services to ensure our tenants remain at the heart of these.”
