One Council Partnership Funding available in East Lothian

Local community groups, charities and third sector organisations will be able to apply for revenue grant awards from East Lothian Council’s One Council Partnership Fund (OCPF) from 1 September.
The OCPF supports activities to help reduce inequalities and make East Lothian a better place to live. The focus of the funding awards is to support initiatives and activities which help community-based organisations to:
- Address inequalities, and the impact of poverty including health inequalities
- Reduce social isolation for vulnerable children, young people and adults
- Support prevention and early intervention activities across all age groups
- Provide more youth work opportunities for children and young people
- Respond to the climate emergency
- Promote volunteering.
The time period for applications to be submitted has been brought forward this year by two months, running from 1 to 30 September. This is to enable organisations to submit applications earlier in the year, outwith the busy period leading up to winter and Christmas. It will also give the council more time to engage and follow-up with applicants on any aspect of their application which requires clarification or further information.
Further information will be issued when the fund is launched on 1 September.
