Perth and Kinross community groups invited to Warm Welcome Fund workshops

Community groups and organisations who would like to offer support to residents in their local area over the winter months are being invited to attend workshops to help them develop their applications to Perth and Kinross Council’s Warm Welcome Fund (formerly known as the Cost-of-Living Community Fund).

The workshops aim to bring together interested groups to collaborate, plan and strengthen their proposals to work together to meet the needs of their local communities. This will involve sharing project ideas with the opportunity for prospective applicants to refine their offer and develop projects in collaboration with other groups.

Any group or organisation that would like to apply for funding is being encouraged to send a representative to the workshop for their council ward area.

Workshop events have already taken place for the Highland and Strathtay wards, with the other 10 wards to come on dates from 22 August to 21 September.

Prospective applicants are also asked to complete the funding application form beforehand and bring this to the workshop.

Further information including the workshop date for each ward and the application form is available from the council website.

Groups or organisations with any questions can contact the council by emailing CLD@pkc.gov.uk.
