Procast Group has been awarded a new electrical contract by North Lanarkshire Council, further strengthening the business’ established client/contractor relationship and supporting continued investment in homes, skills and the local economy.
The two-year contract, with the option of two one-year extensions, will see Lanarkshire-based Procast Group deliver electrical services to domestic properties across the region, looking to cover off up to 250 home rewires each year, improving the safety, efficiency and reliability of electrical systems for residents across the area.
The programme will also support additional employment and apprenticeship opportunities while contributing to wider economic development, with the extended contract term providing the stability needed to invest in skills, training and long-term workforce growth.
The award reflects Procast Group’s breadth and scale of expertise across housing, property maintenance and specialist electrical services, with its full turnkey, integrated service model and experienced workforce placing the company in a strong position to deliver high-quality upgrades at volume and extend its successful partnership with the council.
Derek Innes, managing director of Procast Group, said: “We are delighted to continue and extend our valued client relationship with North Lanarkshire Council through this new electrical contract.
“This programme will allow us to deliver essential electrical upgrades to around 250 homes each year of the term while creating new employment and apprenticeship opportunities within the local community, and the extended contract term gives us the confidence to invest in our people, expand our workforce and further strengthen our presence in North Lanarkshire as we continue supporting the council’s ambitions to improve homes, enhance safety and contribute to the region’s economic growth.”
