Report: Resilience in the housing system: Market institutions from the global financial crisis to Covid-19

The UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) has published the final output in its project on housing systems, their institutions and their resilience.

Covering the period up to March 2022, the new report seeks to examine the evolution of the housing system between the global financial crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic, and the response of two key housing market institutions – mortgage lenders and the housebuilding industry to the pandemic.

‘Resilience in the housing system: Market institutions from the global financial crisis to Covid-19’ was authored by Prof Mark Stephens, Dr Phil O’Brien and Dr Alice Earley.

The report can be found here.
