Roslea Properties opens Glasgow office and welcomes new director
Craig Muirhead and Rachel Ewing
Independent property management and lettings agency Roslea Properties has opened its first office in Shawlands, Glasgow, as part of ambitious growth plans.
Founded by Rachel Ewing in 2023, Roslea Properties has quickly built a substantial lettings portfolio across the city and beyond, including in Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Falkirk. Following this success, the agency has now expanded into sales, investment management and factor services.
The new office space at 259 Kilmarnock Road has been meticulously designed in partnership with Glasgow-based interior designer Noya Design Studio, offering a contemporary and considered environment where the firm can welcome clients and host bespoke events.
The investment in its office footprint coincides with the appointment of Craig Muirhead as director. Childhood friends, Rachel and Craig have shared a passion for property for years, and the decision to team up came naturally as the business continues to scale.
With a background in the energy sector spanning more than 15 years, Craig brings extensive project management and interior design expertise, having built two homes from the ground up over the last five years.
Rachel Ewing, founder and director at Roslea Properties, said: “Roslea Properties was born from a passion to offer sales and rental opportunities differently, with our ethos firmly rooted in providing trusted, personalised and relaxed services. We never wanted to become a corporate agency. What is important to us is culture, community and client relationships.
“We genuinely care about every stakeholder we work with, whether that’s landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers or contractors. We’ve always had a strong presence in Glasgow’s Southside, so opening our first office in Shawlands felt like the natural next step and gives our clients a welcoming local base.
“Being part of the community is incredibly important to us. We’re looking forward to hosting events in the space and opening our doors to local residents, businesses and creatives to create meaningful connections and conversations.”
Craig Muirhead, director at Roslea Properties, added: “This is a new chapter for me after 15 years working in the energy sector. Property, design and architecture have always been personal interests of mine and, having spent much of my spare time renovating and building homes, I’m excited to turn that passion into the next stage of my career with Roslea.
“While Glasgow’s sales and lettings market is undoubtedly competitive, I believe Roslea offers clients more than a traditional agency experience. There is a genuine appreciation for good design and an understanding of how people connect with the spaces they live in, which helps create a more personal approach to buying, selling and letting homes.”
As part of its commitment to supporting local talent, Roslea has partnered with Glasgow-based illustrator and creative Nänni Pää to design its sales and lettings boards, alongside a range of marketing collateral.
The agency has also launched a free-to-use Design Directory on its website, showcasing independent businesses across the property, interiors, construction and creative sectors. The platform connects homeowners, landlords and investors with trusted local professionals.
The directory already features a growing network of respected Glasgow-based firms, including ThreeFourFive, Noya Design Studio, StudioTellar, Forhaus, Kitcaboose, The Nomad & Co and SALVATION_glasgow.
Rachel added: “Glasgow is home to an incredible network of creative and property professionals. Through our Design Directory, we want to create a platform that not only supports independent businesses but also helps people discover the expertise that exists within their local community. By bringing these businesses together, we hope to encourage collaboration, strengthen local networks and make it easier for people to access trusted services close to home.”
