Scotland’s Housing Network welcomes East Kilbride Housing Association

ekha1East Kilbride Housing Association has become the newest member of Scotland’s Housing Network.

The Association joins well over a hundred-strong group of social landlords who already benefit from the Network’s services.

Andy Young, director of East Kilbride Housing Association, said: “Being a small housing association in a large town, EKHA had to think very carefully about how we could accurately benchmark our performance. Scotland’s Housing Network clearly understands the benchmarking needs of housing associations in Scotland.

“They offer an impressive range of services to assist our performance and value for money benchmarking which are supported by wide ranging practice exchange and self-assessment tools. They provide services that are practical and pragmatic in their approach, which is very important in EKHA’s context. We are looking forward to working with Scotland’s largest housing network, to bring benefits to our tenants, board members and staff team.”

Scotland’s Housing Network director, Elaine Byrne, added: “We are delighted to welcome East Kilbride Housing Association to our network. They join our membership which represents almost 90% of the social rented sector in Scotland. It is an exciting time for another housing association to join us just as we are modernising our already extensive range of services with our new value for money assessment tools, our interactive business intelligence software and a brand new website.”
