Scottish Housing News named in world’s top 50 poverty blogs

Poverty transparent_1000pxScottish Housing News is delighted to announce that it has been named among the ‘Top 50 Poverty Blogs & Websites to end poverty around the world’ – the only Scottish-based publication on the list.

Online blog compendium Feedspot selected SHN from thousands of top poverty blogs in its index using search and social metrics which ranks publication based on the following criteria:

  • Google reputation and Google search ranking

  • Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites

  • Quality and consistency of posts.

  • Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review

    • Scottish Housing News was ranked 25th on the list.

    Other blogs to have been selected include United States-based Compassion International, News24 from South Africa, The Conversation in Australia and the UK’s Child Poverty Action Group.
