Sidey secures £50m Falkirk Council housing upgrade programme

Sidey has secured contracts worth £50 million as part of Falkirk Council’s Phase 2 Window and Door Replacement Programme, strengthening its long-standing partnership with the local authority following the successful completion of Phase 1.

The business has been appointed to deliver Lot 2 - East and Lot 3 - West of the programme, which will see windows and doors upgraded across approximately 4,149 homes over the next five years.

As part of Falkirk Council’s continued investment in its housing stock, Sidey will install around 45,000 new frames, including uPVC triple-glazed windows, uPVC doors, composite doors and composite fire doors. The programme is designed to improve the energy efficiency, security and long-term performance of homes for residents across the region.

Works will take place across Bo’ness, Grangemouth, Maddiston and Redding in the East, alongside Denny, Dunipace and Larbert in the West, with delivery phased to ensure a consistent and efficient programme of improvements.

Sidey’s continued involvement in Phase 2 provides continuity following the successful delivery of the first phase, combining established local knowledge with proven experience in delivering large-scale housing improvement programmes.

Steve Hardy, managing director at Sidey, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Falkirk Council and build on the success of Phase 1. Securing both the East and West contracts reflects the confidence placed in our team and our ability to consistently deliver high-quality improvements at scale.

“This programme represents a significant investment in homes and communities across Falkirk. By upgrading windows and doors for thousands of residents, we can help improve comfort, energy efficiency and security, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer experience throughout delivery.”
