“I’m confident that he will make a positive impact and continue to drive the council forward. I’d like to wish Stephen the very best in his new role.”

“Having grown up here, South Ayrshire is a very special place for me, with outstanding places, first-class education opportunities and enormous economic potential.
“The council’s vision is a compelling one and I look forward to leading the organisation with drive and passion to deliver the best possible results for the people who live in, visit and work in South Ayrshire. I can’t wait to get started.”
