Stand Property appoints director to strengthen activity in Edinburgh and St Andrews
Harry Crombie
Stand Property, which is part of the Coulters group, has appointed Harry Crombie as director, in a bid to boost the business’s lettings activity in its Edinburgh and St Andrews offices and drive growth in the East of Scotland.
Crombie has more than a decade of senior lettings experience, with his career starting in construction before he entered property, working his way up to positions in Lettings Negotiating and Business Development at Braemore Property, where he worked for six years. Crombie established his own lettings agency, Crombie & Co, in 2013, growing the business for five years prior to a successful sale.
Crombie, working as a consultant, then supported smaller agencies to acquire stability and growth, before he joined Burgh Property as Lettings Director during 2023.
Burgh Property was later acquired by Clyde Property and, more recently, DJ Alexander and Lomond.
Mike Fitzgerald, director of Stand Property, said: “Harry’s appointment reflects Coulters’ continued investment and growth, as we expand our business streams to serve our existing and new clients.
“His experience and track record, with a team and client-focussed approach, fits well with the overall Coulters business and culture, focussing on delivering quality service in a friendly and efficient manner.”
Fitzgerald added: “Harry will focus on growing the Stand business and expanding its client base across Edinburgh and St Andrews, and into new locations.”
In Crombie’s role at Stand Property, he will focus on boosting existing relationships with landlords and clients, developing a more solid alignment between the offices in Edinburgh and St Andrews, and improving efficiency and organisation at the Edinburgh branch.
Crombie will also focus on creating more of an alignment between the Stand and Coulters brands.
In response to his appointment, Crombie said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to bring my extensive lettings knowledge to a business with such strong ambitions for growth.
“I’ve long admired Coulters’ reputation in the market, and I look forward to building Stand Property’s brand presence, developing new client relationships, and contributing to the wider success of the group.”
For the next 12 months, Crombie’s priorities will include boosting client engagement and internal systems, and developing a well-managed and motivated team.
