Summerpark won the award for Low Rise Residential Development of the Year (North) with senior site manager Jim Robison also picking up the national award forUK Site Manager of the Year.

Summerpark, which opened in 2008, was Story Homes’ first-ever development in Scotland and is still the biggest development in Dumfries and Galloway to date, with over 350 residents purchasing homes at the development.

The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards, presented last week, are designed to recognise the UK’s best developments covered by Premier Guarantee schemes, giving credit to those buildings that go above and beyond what is expected.

Colin Wood, chief operating officer at Story Homes, said: “We are very proud to have won two Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards – it is fantastic to be acknowledged by the industry for the hard work of our Summerpark team, with special recognition for our senior site manager, Jim.
