Argyll Homes For All (AHFA) is continuing to foster links with local school Hermitage Academy.

A selection of S4,5, & 6 pupils have been given the opportunity to gain valuable vocational training and work experience in a variety of trades.

During the programme the pupils are paired with a fully qualified tradesperson, who provides them with basic knowledge and understanding of their specific trade, allowing the pupils to establish which trade, if any, they would like to follow in their future career.

The programme takes place 1 day per week over a 3 to 6-month period, and will allow the pupils to add the experience to their CV, which shows future potential employers that they can work in a professional environment.
